Vector Letter

Iv never used Illustrator before but here is my composition for the abstract letter. I chose the Ampersand aka "&". I chose this symbol because I love the flowing characteristics of it and saw many possibilities to manipulate it. Now since Iv never used the Illustrator I didn't reach my full potential in doing so. I enjoyed using the different brush strokes and using the oval shapes to manipulate their gradient. Hope you enjoy!

Ethereal Blade

The year 2072 has arrived and Earth is excited for the most recent discovery in space. There is a new planet just outside the solar system that seems to have water and life on it. The sudden appearance of the planet is kept secret but the media has hyped to possibility of a new start on this new planet. The propaganda and people of Earth have named this new found mass "Ethereal."

John Blue is just a regular man that never reached his full potential and is perfectly aware of it. His dreams of flying in the dark mysterious space discovering new signs of life have not been reached. He has only flown in the blue-gray polluted skies of Earth working for a corporate plane company. Having no family or close friends his dreams become obsessive and turn him almost mad. His only connection to sanity is the take off of the plane and dreaming once again to fly outside the atmosphere.

One possibly fortunate day the plane takes off and turbulence turns for the worst. A sudden whirl wind of storm allows no sight for John to tell the sky from the ground. The storm crashes the plane. Regaining consciousness, John finds himself looking out of the plane into a strange, strange landscape that are alien to the characteristics of the surface of over populated Earth. Questioning his sanity and surroundings, John and the survivors are taken on an adventure of ethereal qualities that change his life and dreams.

A Day in the Life of a Tree

Throughout the day the tree showed different sides of character. The daylight of sunrise and the daylight of sunset were two different and amazing things to experience. To notice the total differnce between the two allowed me to see how much change there was and what the tree went through throughout the day. This first composition of the tree is a combination of all the times I recorded and I made it into more of a collage.
